Steve's Escort arrived as a bare unpainted shell and a number of boxes filled with some very nice period parts. Firstly we had the shell prepped and painted, and then we assembled the car to the stage it’s at now, as can be seen in the photos below.

Steve plans to use the car in historic tarmac rallies, the car will be restored and modified over the next few months to run as it would have done back in the days when it was new.
